Rubber Depot has created Rub R Dek® – a seamless rubber surface
system for the Do-It-Yourself customer. It is formulated from EPDM granulated rubber combined with a specially formulated adhesive.
Where can Rub R Dek® be installed?
Rub R Dek® can be applied on pool decks, porches, patios,
walkways, garage floors, steps, and even boat decks.
What type of base can Rub R Dek® be installed over?

In most cases Rub R Dek® orders will be shipped out
within 10-21 days unless the color required is back ordered.
How will Rub R Dek® ship?
Rub R Dek® will most often be shipped LTL ,packaged on a wood skid (pallet).
Is Rub R Dek® difficult to install?
Rub R Dek® is easy to install, materials have been thoroughly tested
and pre-measured so you may simply follow the step-by-step instructions.
Can Rub R Dek® be used for both indoor and outdoor applications?
Rub R Dek® can be used for all outdoor
applications, however we do not recommend indoor applications as the materials are porous and indoor base typically does not allow for proper draining.
What are ideal temperature and weather conditions for installing Rub R Dek®?
The ideal temperature range for
installation of Rub R Dek® is min. 50°F (10°C) and max. Of 91°F (33°C). A forecast of no precipitation during the installation period
is advised, as the materials are moisture-curing and may set prematurely.
Will Rub R Dek® color fade?
Rub R Dek® uses UV-stable EPDM which will maintain its color for many years.
How does Rub R Dek® drain?
Rub R Dek® is porous, which allows water to drain through the surface and in the
direction in which the sub-base is sloped.
How long does Rub R Dek® take to dry?
Generally it takes Rub R Dek® a full 24 to 48 hours to dry.
How does snow affect Rub R Dek®?
Rub R Dek® can be shoveled and de-iced using salt without any harmful affects.
Will Rub R Dek® get hot?
Rub R Dek® is generally cooler then concrete or asphalt; lighter
colors will be cooler on the feet.
What does oil, gas or chlorine do to the surface?
Those materials will have no adverse affect provided they are
removed immediately and surface washed with a mild detergent.
Does Rubber Depot accept credit cards?
Rubber Depot accepts all major credit cards, debit and PayPal payments.
Will pets damage the Rub R Dek®?
Normal pet traffic will not damage Rub R
Dek®. Urine and defecation on the Rub R Dek® can be simply rinsed away with mild detergent and hose.
How do I maintain and clean Rub R Dek®?
Rub R Dek® is very easy to maintain and clean –
simply power-wash and let dry. If stains are present use a mild detergent and scrub with a scrub brush.
How long is the warranty for Rub R Dek®?
Rub R Dek® carries a 10 year limited warranty against
defective materials.
